What does a day-in-the-life look like?


Supports the coordination of daily production activities.


What does success look like?

  • Proactively improve safety in the plant to achieve the plant goal of 0 accidents
  • Facilitate and develop topics for communication at daily safety and area meetings
  • Champion timely resolution of all safety concerns and/or near misses
  • Enforce area and plant safety procedures
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the Logistic Technicians
  • Ensure shipping plan compliance, material and paperwork
  • Manage the day to day lot activities for the side loader operators to ensure zero production disruptions and zero shipping errors
  • Ensure all side loaders have the correct preventive or corrective maintenance 
  • Monitor standardized work is being followed
  • Identify training opportunities to develop and maintain a highly motivated and capable team
  • Lead efforts to reduce cost and improve efficiency to meet planned/plant objectives
  • Conduct training for teammates
  • Gather information and auditing of daily reports
  • Additional responsibilities as required – this position is subject to change as the needs of the department change


What you will bring:

  • High School degree/diploma
  • 2 years of more in leadership positions
  • A combination of education and manufacturing-logistic experience

  • Computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point)
  • Communication, analytical, problem solving
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
  • Safety and Quality oriented
  • Capacity to manage resources and activities in order to obtain results
  • Must be willing to work overtime with little or no notice
